Van Ninja have a range of specialist vehicles built from the Mercedes Sprinter cab and chassis. In this article, we are looking at the tipper body, which is an excellent vehicle for construction, garden services, waste removal, and many more industries.
Inside the Cab
The cab is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 315CDi Progressive. Mercedes have been a mark of quality and reliability for many years, and that reputation is upheld by the latest version of the Sprinter.
The cab is fitted with cruise control for those long motorway journeys. Auto stop/start and hill start assist are also included, which are very helpful in a large vehicle like the tipper.
Electronic stabilisatiion, brake distribution, and active brake assist work with the driver to keep the vehicle moving smoothly and under control at all times.
Safety systems include Mercedes’ emergency call system, attention assist, and breakdown management.
The van is also fitted with a modern entertainment system, with a 7” touch screen, USB-C sockets, and Apple Carplay/Android Auto.
The Tipper
The tipping body was added by our specialist body builders from high quality materials. The loadbox is L3, with dimensions of 3050mm by 2010mm, with sides 400mm high.
The loadbox is 1050mm from the ground, and can carry 1263kg.
Hydraulics lift the loadbox for easy unloading of waste, aggregates or any similar materials.
The Toolpod
A secure metal toolpod is fitted between the cab and loadbox. This holds one shelf and is openable from both sides. The toolpod is fully lockable, and can safely hold a lot of equipment.
Van Ninja have a limited number of toolpod tipper vans available now for immediate lease.
