The Mercedes Sprinter Progressive is available at Van Ninja

Mercedes Sprinter L2H2 on finance lease

The Mercedes Sprinter is an instantly recognisable van on the UK’s roads. Since its launch in 1995, it has grown in popularity and has become a favourite among van drivers.

Today, the Sprinter is one of the high-end large van lease options. It comes with far more features than its competitors such as the Peugeot Boxer or Vauxhall Movano, and it edges out the Ford Transit 350 on technical equipment. This comes with a cost, and the lease price of a Mercedes Sprinter is higher than those other vans.

If you were to make a comparison between the Mercedes Sprinter and other large vans of its class, based on build quality, performance, and feature list, it is clear than the Sprinter does offer value for money – You pay more, but you get a lot more out of your van.

The latest model, the Mercedes Sprinter Progressive, is now available to order at Van Ninja. This large van lease is an excellent choice for drivers that need a lot of space but don’t want to sacrifice comfort or technology in the process.

Features

The Progressive is the mid-level Sprinter with some technical and aesthetic upgrades over the basic Pure model. The high-level trim Sprinter, the Premium, further upgrades the styling of the grille, wheels and seats at additional cost.

Driver Convenience

All Sprinters are fitted with Bluetooth connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a USB socket so you can use your phone or tablet while away from the office.

Cruise control reduces your workload while driving long distance, while crosswind assist helps you stay in lane in heavy wind.

The multimedia system is accessed through a 7” touch screen and includes DAB radio, with compatibility for Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Controls on the steering wheel connect with the system and allow you to easily change settings while driving.

A heat insulated windscreen quickly defrosts snow and ice to save you time manually clearing your field of view before you set off in the morning.

The cab has a full range of storage solutions, from a deep glove box to compartments below the seats and above the windscreen. At the rear, the double doors can open 270 degrees to lock against the outside wall of the van, leaving clear space to manoeuvre while loading the van.

Technical

The Mercedes Sprinter has more technical features than most large vans, with a suite of monitoring and assistance systems that are deigned to keep you in control no matter the conditions.

Hill start assist and an ECO stop/start function make sure you pull away smoothly in any situation.

Brake assistance and traction control systems monitor the van’s movement and make minor changes to the brakes and throttle to maintain grip while cornering or on slippery surfaces.

Security

The Sprinter is fitted with double locking, allowing you to unlock the cabin and the load area separately. It also comes with an anti-theft alarm system that can link to Mercedes PRO Connect, alerting to you any unauthorised attempts to access the van.

Mercedes PRO Connect

All new Sprinters come with PRO Connect fitted as standard.

PRO Connect links your van to your phone, laptop, or tablet to provide you with real-time vehicle data. The system will monitor vehicle health and send alerts for upcoming services or required maintenance. It can even check if the doors are locked or not and allow you to lock them remotely.

If you run a fleet of vans, then PRO Connect becomes even more useful. All vans linked to your account will be displayed on the same map screen, with information about their fuel status and vehicle health. Ensure your deliveries are on time, or your technicians are moving to the next job, without the need of 3rd party tracking systems.

Route planning and navigation are also possible with the Mercedes PRO Connect system.
