The New Fiat Scudo is Here

The Fiat Scudo was taken out of production in 2016, with Fiat replacing it with the Talento. From 2016 to 2020, the Talento was Fiat’s medium van offering. The Talento was essentially a rebadged Renault Trafic, with many of the same features as the Trafic.

In 2022, the new Fiat Scudo was released. Built to essentially the same specifications as the Vauxhall Vivaro or the Peugeot Expert, the Scudo has a few improvements over its sister models. Not surprising, when they were originally released in 2019.

The Fiat Scudo has all the features you’d expect from this family of medium vans. Manual air conditioning, daytime running lights, and a loadthrough bulkhead are standard.

The instrument panel is LCD, and the van is fitted with a DAB Bluetooth radio with a USB port. Automatic wipers add to driver convenience, and an acoustic windscreen reduces noise levels for a more relaxed drive.

The Scudo has a range of technical features to make it easier, and safer, to drive. ABS and brake assistance features, including brake force distribution, help to manage breaking and vehicle balance while slowing down, and electronic stability control also provides a great help when driving fully loaded.

The Fiat Scudo is one of the better vehicles in its class and has a few features that take it above some of its sister vehicles. With the model being a 2022 release, that also makes it the most advanced and reliable, learning any lessons from the operational history of the 2019-dated models like the Vivaro or the Expert.
