The Best Vans on a Budget

Vauxhall Vivaro Lease

This month we’re looking at the best options for a van lease on a budget. With the current state of the world, new vans are rare, and tradespeople are looking for the best deals they can find.

Looking at the vans we have in stock, Vauxhall vans are the obvious answer. They are reliable and efficient, with large payloads and enough features to ensure they drive well.

Our good relationship with Vauxhall allows us a degree of priority when it comes to sourcing new vans, ensuring we always have stock, and we believe we can match anyone on price.

Vauxhall Movano

If you need a large van to maximise your load capacity, then the Vauxhall Movano is the obvious choice. With a payload of 1431kg and a load length of 3.7m, this large van lease can carry more than the Ford Transit 350 or the Mercedes Sprinter, while also coming in cheaper on the monthly payments.

This is a fairly basic van and might not have the bells and whistles of something like the VW Crafter, but it gets the job done and it comes in at one of the cheapest monthly payments you’ll find on a large van lease (depending on the finance terms).

It is still a good drive and a solid, reliable van even if it is missing a few luxuries. It is also in stock now, though numbers are limited.

Vauxhall Vivaro

Here at Van Ninja, we have two versions of the Vauxhall Vivaro medium van lease in stock.

The feature rich version, the Sportive, is available as an L1. This comes with a lot of features, such as air con, cruise control, parking sensors, and more. A 2.5m load length and a payload of over 1 ton make this van highly capable.

We also have the Edition model as an L2, offering an additional 30cm of load space to bring it in line with the Ford Transit Custom. The Edition has cruise control, but lacks the 7” multimedia screen and parking sensors of the Sportive model.

Despite the Sportive being a higher spec than the Edition, the Sportive can often work out cheaper when looking to lease. This is due to the residual values (the value of the vehicle at the end of the lease) being higher in the Sportive, meaning you have less to pay over the term.

It’s not always the case that a higher spec vehicle has cheaper monthly rates, but for the right lease terms, you can get a really good deal on the Sportive model.

Your best option is to speak to a Van Ninja leasing expert, who can suggest the right vehicle to suit your business requirements and payment terms.
